It can be difficult to know where or how to begin explaining what you may want or need in a home, especially to someone you’ve never met.

I’ve added this Wishlist to my site to help get the ball rolling. It covers all the basics your designer and builder will need to know to start your project. It includes contact information, the style and features you want, appliance options, etc.

You may simply download, print it, and fill it out, or you may like to upload it to a free online tool like https://www.pdfescape.com where you can fill out the form, download the completed form, and email.

The downloadable file above is a seven-page, comprehensive list of rooms, options, and features you may not have considered. Some of the options won’t be needed– it includes up to six bedrooms and baths, and multiple living and dining spaces. There is also room to add custom options if they aren’t listed.

I created this tool espescially for My Dreamhouse Plan clients, and I would appreciate it if you didn’t share this on other websites or forums.

The $350 deposit is due at the initial meeting, and will be applied to the final invoice if the project is finalized within 90 days of the first meeting. Payment is due when the plans are finalized.

Price is per square foot, and applies to all areas under roof, including living space, garages, covered patios, porches, and breezeways.

*In some cases, an architect or engineer’s seal is required. It is the responsibility of the builder to secure this seal, at an additional fee.

Turnaround time is usually 7 to 10 business days. Appointments typically book 7 to 10 days in advance.

We do not take commercial, remodel, or addition projects.

You were stuck at home for nearly a year, and now that things are starting to get back to normal– whatever that means– you’re ready to address the problems you discovered about your house. Updating kitchens and master baths are the most pricey remodel projects, but they also can bring big returns when done right. Another good investment is adding that third or fourth bedroom that can be used as a home office. This will make your home appealing to a wider range of buyers.

All plans in the files of MyDreamhousePlan are copyrighted. This means that they are owned by MyDreamhousePlan and that any reproduction of any kind is forbidden. Purchasing blueprints is, in fact, purchasing a license to use the design.

   The plan may be used for the construction of only ONE HOUSE. If the plan is to be used for a second house at another location, even if no other blueprints are required, you must purchase another license to do so.

   You may loan all or part of the plans to third parties including contractors or sub-contractors for the sole purpose of the construction of one house. Mortgage companies and building officials may retain a set of plans for their files.

   The license you purchase with the plans is non-transferable and does not imply transfer of any right, title, or interest in the plan design other than what is stated above.

   When you accept this agreement, you enable us to keep our quality high and our prices low.

   If you wish to build a second house from the same design, please call us and ask for our reorder rate. Have the plan number ready, and we can fill your order by the end of the next business day.
