Ready for a New Home, Let’s Talk About It!

You were stuck at home for nearly a year, and now that things are starting to get back to normal– whatever that means– you’re ready to address the problems you discovered about your house. Maybe you need a dedicated home office. Maybe you need another bedroom. Perhaps the kitchen just doesn’t cut it anymore. Should you renovate or start from scratch?

Before putting that “For Sale By Owner” sign in your front yard, do your research. While this market is great for sellers, it’s a bit tricky for buyers– which is what you’ll be once you sell your house. Construction costs are high, but some of the supply chains are showing promise, with drops in prices and better availability of goods.

If you have a lot, now may be the perfect time to invest in building. If you only want to renovate, for now, make sure you’re making improvements that will pay for themselves when you are ready to sell.

Updating kitchens and master baths are the most pricey remodel projects, but they also can bring big returns when done right. Another good investment is adding that third or fourth bedroom that can be used as a home office. This will make your home appealing to a wider range of buyers.

When you’re ready for that next step, give me a call, and let’s talk about your options.

The New Face-to-Face

If you’d like to meet, either to go over your sketches, or to start a brand new project, just give me a call, text, or email.

I have a ZOOM account, which enables us to have a virtual video-conference. We’ll be able to meet face-to-face, see the details we need to see, and never share a single germ.

All this social-distancing will be over before you know it, but until then, let’s do our best to stay healthy! Thanks!

In These Trying Days

First, let me say that I am extremely grateful for my clients that have allowed me to work from home these last five years. You all have blessed my life over and over again, and I never want to take your generosity for granted.

During these unusual times, I want to make a commitment to you all to provide the best service possible, while keeping your family (and mine) safe from this outbreak. As many of you know, my 88-year-old mother in law lives with us (please don’t tell her I told you her age) and her health is a top priority for us.

In this light, I am limiting my face-to-face contact, and working primarily through email and text. I also have the capability to meet through video-conference. If this option works best for you, please give me a call and we can schedule a virtual meeting.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Together we can all get through this, and come out even better on the other side! God bless!

Thank you for Choosing My Dreamhouse Plan!

All plans in the files of MyDreamhousePlan are copyrighted. This means that they are owned by MyDreamhousePlan and that any reproduction of any kind is forbidden. Purchasing blueprints is, in fact, purchasing a license to use the design.

The plan may be used for the construction of only ONE HOUSE. If the plan is to be used for a second house at another location, even if no other blueprints are required, you must purchase another license to do so.

You may loan all or part of the plans to third parties including contractors or sub-contractors for the sole purpose of the construction of one house. Mortgage companies and building officials may retain a set of plans for their files.

The license you purchase with the plans is non-transferable and does not imply transfer of any right, title, or interest in the plan design other than what is stated above.

When you accept this agreement, you enable us to keep our quality high and our prices low.

If you wish to build a second house from the same design, please call us and ask for our reorder rate. Have the plan number ready, and we can fill your order by the end of the next business day. For your convenience, we accept credit cards. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you!
